Alexander Grytsayenko was born in 1981 in Kherson, Ukraine. He received his first training in the years 1995 to 2000 at the Music Conservatory in Kiev. Then chamber music lessons and master classes with Gabor Takacs, the founder of the well-known quartet of the same name. He completed the soloist diploma at the College of Music Tibor Varga under Gyula Stuller and Francesco de Angelis.
His orchestral experience is equally impressive: member of the Camerata Bellerive Geneva, invitation to the Orchestra Filarmonica della Scala Milano, opera performances at the Zurich Opera with renowned conductors. 1st prize at the Rahn Music Prize Zurich, solo engagements with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine and performances in many European countries.
Alexander Grytsayenko is currently working with the Orchester de Chambre de Lausanne as leader of the 2nd violin.
