His powerful sound, the extraordinary capacity to deal with different and varied programs and the humility with which he faces his career, make from Alfredo a leading figure among the most outstanding current young musicians.

He has performed in stages as the National Hall of Spain, the Royal Theater in Madrid, Liceu in Barcelona, Palau dels Arts, ADDA in Alicante, National Hall in Zagreb (Vatroslav Lisinski) or National Hall in Dominican Republic (Carlos Piantini), and he has participated in festivals as Kronberg Academy in Germany, Encuentro de música de Santander or “Conques, La lumiere du Roman”, in France.

Alfredo has been conducted by Zubin Mehta, Günter Pichler, Juanjo Mena, Gordan Nikolic or Pablo González, and he has performed some of the most important cello concertos with the Croatian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Queen Sofia Academy Orchestra, Elche Symphonic Orchestra, or the Juan Pablo Duarte Orchestra in Santo Domingo, among others.

Among his national and international prizes, stands out the first prize and four special awards in the International Antonio Janigro Cello Competition, in Zagreb or, recently, the Nicolas Firmenich Prize, awarded by the Verbier Festival.

Some of the milestones of last season are his concerts as a soloist with the Orquesta Filarmónica de Málaga or his participation in the Verbier Festival (Switzerland). Among his commitments for the 2017/18 season are his recitals at the Juan March Foundation in Madrid and concerts n Basel (Switzerland) and with the Varazdin chamber orchestra in Croatia.

Alfredo started his studies with Francisco Pastor, Rafal Jeziersky and María Casado, before being accepted in the Queen Sofía Music School, in the class of Natalia Shakhovskaya and Michal Dmochowsky, and later, of Ivan Monighetti. In 2015 he received from her Majesty the Queen Sofia the prize to the most outstanding student of the cello class.
