Asaki Ino
Born in 1987 in Chiba, Japan, Asaki Ino received her first piano lessons at the age of 4. From 2006 to 2010 she studied at Tokyo University of Arts. Since September 2011, the young pianist has been studying Master of Arts in Music Performance with Hans-Jürg Strub at the Zurich University of the Arts.
Asaki Ino is first prize winner of the Rahn Music Prize 2012 and prize winner of several music competitions in Japan. In 2004 she won first prize at the Miyoshi Net Piano Competition. She won first prize at the Yachiyo Music Competition in 2007, third prize at the Takaraduka Bega Music Competition in 2010 and third place at the Tokyo Music Competition in 2011.
The pianist has performed with various orchestras such as the Yachiyo Phillharmonie, the Tokyo University of the Arts Orchestra, the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra and the Graubünden Chamber Philharmonic.
