Born in 1998, Aurore Grosclaude entered the class of Christian Favre at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne in 2014, where she received her Pedagogy Master’s degree in 2020. She is currently continuing her studies at the Musik Akademie Basel, pursuing a Performance Master with Claudio Martínez Mehner.
Aurore has won several prizes and distinctions as a soloist: she won twice the first prize with distinction at the finale of the Swiss Youth Music Competition (2011 and 2015) and twice the third prize of the Concours d’Interprétation Musicale de Lausanne (2015 and 2021). She is also a laureate of the Rosario Marciano Piano Competition in Vienna as well as the International Piano Competition in Val de Travers. Her qualities as a chamber musician and accompanist have been recognized at several competitions too, for instance at the Lavaux Classic Competition with harpist Tjasha Gafner in 2020.
Aurore has also performed as a soloist in many piano concertos with the Budweis Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestre Romand des Jeunes Professionnels, the Orchestre des Jeunes de la Suisse Romande, and besides played a double concerto with the violinist Pierre Amoyal and the Camerata of Lausanne. In June 2021, she had the chance to play Poulenc’s Concerto for two pianos with pianist Luana Käslin and the Sinfonieorchester Basel at the Stadtcasino Basel. She often plays in Festival such as Lavaux Classic, Festival 4 Saisons, Festival Sine Nomine or in programs of the swiss radio Espace 2.
Furthermore, her artistic development has been supplemented by masterclasses and lessons from musicians such as Eduardo Delgado, Pascal Rogé, Florent Boffard, Cédric Pescia, Claudius Tanski, Shmuel Ashkenazy, Roland Pidoux, François Salque, Renaud Capuçon or Vincent Coq, among others.
The board of trustees of the Rahn Kulturfonds meets twice a year and will consider all fully completed applications received.

Rahn Kulturfonds supports requests regarding a contribution to the performance fees if:
- it is a project with or by Rahn Kulturfonds prize winners.
- it is a project with Rahn Kulturfonds scholarship holders.
Rahn Kulturfonds supports its prize winners and scholarship holders during four years after receiving the award.
