Cecilia Facchini
Born in Rome, Cecilia Facchini graduated with top marks from Casella Conservatory in L’Aquila (Bachelor’s degree) and with top marks summa cum laude from Verdi Conservatory in Ravenna (Master’s degree), under the guidance of Professor Alessandra Ammara. Recently she completed the Master of Arts in Music Performance with top marks cum laude at Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano with professor Anna Kravtchenko.
As Winner of several international competitions, she won First Prize at Mozart International Competition in Turin, Second Prize at Moncalieri European Music Competition and “Giovanni Dragoni” Award in Ravenna as best student of Ravenna Conservatory.
In 2017, she was awarded the Medal of Italian Chamber of Deputies, personally offered by the Italian President of the Chamber of Deputies in recognition of her artistic talent and international prizes she has received.
She attended various masterclasses with Paul Badura-Skoda, Boris Berman, Roberto Prosseda, Claudio Martinez‐Mehner, Lilya Zilberstein, Jeffrey Swann and, for chamber music, with Trio di Parma.
She has appeared as soloist in chamber music ensemble and with orchestra for many concert series in Italy, Switzerland and Central America (Istituzione Sinfonica Abruzzese, Teatro Alighieri and Teatro Rasi in Ravenna, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Polytech University in Turin, La Triennale in Milan, Liszt International Piano Festival in Rome, Lugano Musica at LAC in Lugano, Auditorium Felipe Villanueva in Toluca and Teatro Lupita in Santiago Tianguistenco).
She has performed with several orchestras such as State of Mexico Symphony Orchestra, with which she has recently performed on tour in Mexico, Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese, Orchestra Classica of Alessandria, Orchestra Corelli and Orchestra Verdi of Ravenna.
Her recordings of pieces by Chopin and Debussy were broadcasted by Sky Classica’s TV Channel.
Application
The board of trustees of the Rahn Kulturfonds meets twice a year and will consider all fully completed applications received.

Rahn Kulturfonds supports requests regarding a contribution to the performance fees if:
- it is a project with or by Rahn Kulturfonds prize winners.
- it is a project with Rahn Kulturfonds scholarship holders.
Rahn Kulturfonds supports its prize winners and scholarship holders during four years after receiving the award.
