Klaudia Baca

The Polish double bass player was born in Katowice in 1992. She began playing the double bass at the age of 12 and graduated with distinction from the Szymanowski School of Music. Klaudia Baca then studied at the Lugano Conservatory under Prof. Enrico Fagone.

As a soloist she has performed with various orchestras, including the Philharmonic Orchestra in Katowice and the Philharmonic Orchestra in Zabrze, and has participated in various festivals.

Klaudia Baca has won prizes in several national and international competitions. In 2013 she founded the Duo Bottesini with violinist Donata Mzyk.

Klaudia Baca is currently an academic of the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester.

Application

The board of trustees of the Rahn Kulturfonds meets twice a year and will consider all fully completed applications received.

The Rahn Kulturfonds supports requests regarding a contribution to the performance fees if:

  • it is a project with or by Rahn Kulturfonds prize winners.
  • it is a project with Rahn Kulturfonds scholarship holders.

The Rahn Kulturfonds supports its prize winners and scholarship holders during four years after receiving the award.
