Natanael Ferreira Dos Santos
Natanael started playing the piano at the age of 9. At the age of 12 he switched to the viola and was taught by his uncle. A short time later he played as a soloist with the Youth Orchestra of Goias in various European cities. He has performed at international festivals and won a scholarship from the Academy Symphony Orchestra in Sao Paulo (OSESP).
In 2013 Natanael won the first prize of the “Campos do Jardao” Winter Festival in Brazil. Since 2014 he has studied at the Haute École de Genève under Miguel Da Silva.
In 2015 the violist won the ‘Academie Maurice Ravel Prix’ and three years later the 3rd prize of the Rahn Music Prize Competition in Switzerland.
Natanael is currently performing as a soloist and chamber musician at various concerts in Switzerland, Belgium and France.
The board of trustees of the Rahn Kulturfonds meets twice a year and will consider all fully completed applications received.

The Rahn Kulturfonds supports requests regarding a contribution to the performance fees if:
- it is a project with or by Rahn Kulturfonds prize winners.
- it is a project with Rahn Kulturfonds scholarship holders.
The Rahn Kulturfonds supports its prize winners and scholarship holders during four years after receiving the award.
