Noémie Rufer
Noémie Rufer was born in 1985 in Jegenstorf, Switzerland. She received her musical training as a junior student with Karen Turpie. Under Prof. Igor Ozim she graduated “with distinction” at the age of 18. In 2005 she received the teaching diploma from Prof. Josef Rissin at the HMT Zurich. In June 2008 she received the concert diploma “with distinction” and graduated with the soloist diploma in 2010.
She is a laureate of various competitions, including: Swiss Youth Music Competition, Concours d’Interprétation Musicale de Lausanne, Rahn Music Prize and received the sponsorship Orpheus concerts.
As a soloist, she has performed with the Zurich Chamber Orchestra, the Brixi Chamber Orchestra Prague, the Biel Symphony Orchestra, the Margess International Youth Orchestra, the Leberberger Instrumentalisten (Patronage of the Menuhin Foundation) and the “Junge Münchner Philharmonie”. Numerous other concerts as a chamber musician and in recitals in Switzerland and Europe followed. Noémi completed masterclasses with Ana Chumachenco, Zakhar Bron, Igor Ozim and Detlef Hahn.
Since August 2010 she is a member of the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich.
