The Rahn Kulturfonds was founded to promote and award outstanding students of swiss music conservatoires and academies.

Rahn Kulturfonds was founded 1976 to promote outstanding students at Swiss music academies. Since 2011, Rahn Kulturfonds provides scholarships once a year and lends instruments to outstanding young musicians.

So far, Rahn Kulturfonds has awarded more than 100 scholarship holders and 80 prize winners.

Based on the candidate’s performance, a jury of four decides on granting a scholarship and its actual amount. The scholarships range from CHF 4’000-7’000 per scholar.
