The Rahn Kulturfonds was founded to promote and award outstanding students of swiss music conservatoires and academies.
For more than 45 years Rahn Kulturfonds has awarded the Rahn Musikpreis in order to promote outstanding students of Swiss music academies. Since 2011, Rahn Kulturfonds has also been awarding scholarships and lends valuable instruments to distinguished young musicians.
An expert jury decides annually on the awarding of scholarships. They range from 4’000 to 7’000 Swiss Francs, based on the candidate’s performance.
