The Rahn Kulturfonds was founded to promote and award outstanding students of swiss music conservatoires and academies.
The Rahn Kulturfonds was founded 1976 to promote outstanding students at Swiss academies of music and conservatoires. Since 2011, the Rahn Kulturfonds provides scholarships once a year and loans instruments to outstanding young musicians.
Up to date, the Rahn Kulturfonds has awarded and funded more than 100 scholarship holders and 80 prize winners.
My Project – New Competition
The Rahn Kulturfonds launches a new competition with MY PROJECT to encourage its prize winners to further their career despite Corona-related restrictions.
Based on the candidate’s performance, a jury of four decides on granting a scholarship and its actual amount. The scholarships range from CHF 4’000-7’000 per scholar.
The Rahn Kulturfonds loans instruments to outstanding young musicians.
The Rahn Kulturfonds aims to offer its prize winners and scholarship holders as many performances as possible.
