Rahn Kulturfonds was founded over 45 years ago to reward and promote outstanding students at Swiss music academies.
In this spirit, Rahn Kulturfonds organises a competition every two years, alternating between piano and string instruments.
Since 2011, the foundation has been awarding annual scholarships of between 4’000 – 7’000 Swiss Francs, as well as loaning instruments to distinguished young musicians. Rahn Kulturfonds is financed by RAHN AG and the patrons’ association.
