The Rahn Kulturfonds was founded to promote and award outstanding students of swiss music conservatoires and academies.
The Rahn Kulturfonds
For over 40 years Rahn Kulturfonds has been running the Rahn Music Prize to support students at Swiss music academies.
The competition is held every two years, alternating between piano and string instruments.
Since 2011 Rahn Kulturfonds has been awarding annual scholarships and lent instruments to outstanding young musicians.

Scholarship
Based on the candidate’s performance, a jury of four decides on granting a scholarship and its actual amount. The scholarships range from CHF 4’000 to 7’000 per scholar.
The next audition will take place in Zurich on November 9, 2020.
